HI, I'M LAURA!
I live in Texas (although I'll always be a Midwesterner at heart!) with my husband and son. After working in recruiting and HR for 17 years where I reviewed thousands of resumes and interviewed hundreds of candidates , I stepped away from my career to focus on raising my son.
When I looked to return I knew I didn't want to go back to HR but I wasn't sure what the heck it is I DID want. So I broke my own cardinal rule and started randomly applying to positions.
After receiving yet another rejection, and eating way too many pints of pity ice cream, I knew I had to change my approach. I took everything I learned over my career and came up with a strategic game plan.
